Ascott-under-Wychwood is a pretty village with church, shop and pub. It is conveniently placed for Burford, Stow-on-the-Wold, Chipping Norton, Bourton-on-the-Water, Moreton-in-the-Marsh and The Slaughters.

Charlbury Station is nearby with frequent trains to London, Oxford, Worcester and Hereford. There is an abundance of footpaths in and around the village.
